Hawthorne District

 The Hawthorne district actually encompasses a series of smaller neighborhoods in its easterly course from the Willamette River to just before SE 55th. It runs through the Buckman, Ladd’s Addition, Abernathy, Sunnyside and Mt. Tabor neighborhoods.

It is well known for the funky shops, boutiques, café’s and restaurants along the boulevard. Be sure to visit the famous Bagdad Theater and one of Powell’s famous bookstores. Learn more about the business district at the Hawthorne Business Association.
