Nob Hill-Alphabet District

Nob Hill, an area zoned for Historic Preservation, runs roughly from NW 24th to NW 17th, and from NW Lovejoy to W Burnside.The area is also known as the Alphabet District and it is named for the alphabetical progression of street names in the area.and encompasses NW 23rd Ave. and NW 21st Ave. shopping, dining, and entertainment district. Housing stock is typical of turn of the century with many Victorian Style homes. Large homes with small yards consistent with early 1900’s urban development. The area is known for its easy access to shopping and dining. Local parks include Macleay and Wallace Park.
