Alberta Arts District

The Alberta Arts District is located along NE Alberta Street between NE 12th and NE 33rd streets. It runs directly through the King and Concordia neighborhoods.

Like Belmont and Hawthorne, it attracts young creatives who enjoy the laid back bohemian feel of the flourishing art community there. The area has experienced rapid gentrification in the last 10 years that accounts for the rise in housing prices. The community enjoys the many art studios, café’s, restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops that line Alberta. The art community hosts a 1st Thursday celebration every month. Local parks include Kennedy Community Garden and Alberta Park.
